Rates of Loans
I was interested to know just how much APR the banks and financial institutes were offering consumers in terms of general purpose and car loans. So, I had a look around various Websites and the best rate that I could find based upon a three year loan of £7,000 was 8.5%. Now I remember not too long ago where the average was around six percent. In fact, various loans companies were offering between 4.8% and 5.4%, which is over three percent less than the current rate. I suppose that with the financial climate still not fully recovered, banks and money lenders are being much more cautious about how much funds they release and so could be excused or justified in their increase. However, the reality of the new situation is that it is much harder for people to now gain acceptance from a loan company – especially if they have bad car credit. Too be honest, those who do indeed have a bad credit history and / or credit score have virtually no chance of obtaining a loan for a decent rate. Read the rest of this post »

Ok, so we know that van insurance protects our vehicles in the event of an accident. However, there are different types of cover; comprehensive, third party and third party fire and theft (usually selected for old used vans). Each option covers different things.
